2.2 MWp In4Solar rooftop array covering the Mpumalanga International Fresh Produce Market
Agriculture · Mining · Energy storage

Power for operations that can’t stop.

In4Solar designs, builds and maintains megawatt-scale solar and containerised battery systems for South African farms, mines and processing plants. Turnkey, from the first site visit to 24/7 monitoring.

Agriculture & agri-processing

Keep the cold chain cold and the water moving.

  • Hybrid solar and storage that protects cold rooms through load shedding
  • Solar pumping that keeps irrigation running independent of the grid
  • Ground-mount and agrivoltaic arrays on Schletter aluminium structures
  • Lower diesel and grid spend from self-generated power

Mining & resources

Microgrids built for 24/7 production on remote sites.

  • Hybrid microgrids up to 11 kV with intelligent load management
  • Sub-0.02 s transfer to backup for critical infrastructure
  • IP65, dust-sealed equipment for harsh mining environments
  • Solar and storage that displace expensive diesel generation

Flagship · Mpumalanga International Fresh Produce Market

2.2MWp across one roof.

The largest fresh produce market south of the Equator runs its cold rooms on In4Solar, with a 3 MWh containerised battery behind the array for when the grid goes down.

Built into the land.

When the roof isn’t enough, we take the array to the field. At Driekoppies, a sugarcane irrigation operation in Mpumalanga, 496 Canadian Solar 620 W panels stand on Schletter aluminium ground-mount structures engineered for agricultural soil and wind loading.

Containerised battery storage

Built off-site. Delivered ready.

Our containerised systems put the batteries, power conversion and inverters in one climate-controlled steel enclosure. For a mine or a farm, that means less civil work, a smaller site footprint and power on line in a fraction of the time.

    01

    Delivered pre-assembled

The system arrives on a flatbed, built and wired off-site, ready to be set down and connected.

    Climate-controlled enclosure

Industrial HVAC holds the batteries in their ideal range from -20°C to +50°C outside.

  3. HIGHON battery rack and DC combiner inside the container
